Heather Hoskins has been appointed as the new Village The Hotel Club Aberdeen general manager.
Heather has worked in hotels for 25 years, her first role being a night manager at the Holiday Inn in Leicester where she started working after diversifying from her trained vocation as a shoe designer. The early ‘90’s were not kind to manufacturing.
Heather Joined Village in 2011 and rose through the ranks. She was part of the first Rising Stars programme that developed talent from inside the business; something she is very passionate about. She was general manager at both Village hotels in Walsall and Solihull before taking up the post at Prime Four.
This year the hotel team are very much looking forward to the significant investment by the company in technology. Next week starts the journey to get Village into the modern tech base that the hotel's exterior portrays. There will be state of the art self-check in and - as always – Scotland are ahead as far as invention goes. The hotels in Glasgow and Edinburgh both now have this facility. The reception team will become ‘hosts’ instead of receptionists and will be actively following the customer journey, the spa and leisure will be able to facilitate on line bookings.
