bmi regional is bringing a greater level of flexibility and choice for travellers with its new ‘fare families’ offering a host of enhanced benefits and products across its entire network.
On sale from April 27, the benefits will enable customers to book a flight package that suits their individual needs whether that be flexibility, hold baggage allowance or enhanced services such as fast track security and lounge access.
The new fares run parallel with bmi regional’s recently launched four tier “Business Powered” corporate product structure, where corporate passengers can enjoy tailored travel to suit their individual needs. Customers booking through regular channels will now be able to enjoy an enhanced combination of product and flexibility through the new fare structures.
The flexible fares are branded as Classic, Classic Plus and Executive. Amongst the benefits of the fares are:
Classic
Available on all basic booked fares, excluding sale fares, Classic is the perfect choice for travellers on a budget who are able to maintain their travel plans. Features include:
- Changes to flights for £50 fee plus fare difference
- Hold baggage allowance of 1 bag of up to 20kg
Classic Plus
For times when a little extra flexibility is required, this fare offers the perfect choice. All the benefits of the Classic fare with the ability to cancel and no fees on changes to flights and time. Classic Plus also offers a few extra bonus features:
- Pay only the fare difference on flight changes
- Cancellations allowed with a £100 fee
- Hold baggage allowance of 1 bag of up to 20kg
Executive
The ultimate travel fare, Executive offers a flexible option with plenty of added extras for busy travellers. With many of the same features as Classic Plus this fare goes above and beyond when it comes to comfort and convenience and offers the added benefit of no charges for changes and cancellations:
- Pay only the fare difference on flight changes
- No cancellation fee
- Complimentary lounge access and fast tracked security
- Enhanced food and beverage service with multiple choices where available
- Fresh fruit basket
- Seating towards the front of the cabin
- Hold baggage allowance of two bags of up to 20kg each
