Due to the huge demand for tickets for their Saturday Barbie Boozy Brunch, local children’s charity Befriend a Child has added an extra date at The Marcliffe Hotel on Sunday, March 16, 2025, 10.30am – 4pm. The boozy brunch theme follows on from the charity’s sold-out Bridgerton event held in March this year, raising over £25,000.
With stunning decor from Adesso, entertainment from some amazing special guests and our fan favourite the 360 Photobooth Aberdeen, DJ set from Northsound1’s Greigsy, as well as games and delicious food, it's set to be a Barbie-tastic day!
Tickets cost £50 pp with tables of 10 (£500) and 12 (£600) available. Ticket price includes a two-course brunch and welcome drink. Sponsorship opportunities for both days are also still available.
Emily Findlay, Marketing and Communications Manager at Befriend a Child said: “We were blown away by the demand for tickets for our Saturday date, with the event selling out in just three days, so it was a no-brainer to launch a second date! The events are shaping up to be fantastic days and we can’t wait to welcome everyone next March.”
All money raised from the Barbie Boozy Brunch events will go directly to support local children and young people growing up in challenging life circumstances across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Many of the children Befriend a Child support are exposed to parental alcohol and substance use and can be victims of abuse and neglect. Other children can be challenged by social isolation and exclusion, parental mental health, bereavement, and disability in the family, while some are young carers, and others live in kinship care. The charity currently supports over 250 children across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
