Patriot International, specialist pipe work equipment provider, have announced the appointment of Rachel Jamieson (right) as marketing coordinator to strengthen their business development team.

Rachel Jamieson has joined the Patriot team from an Engineering Consultancy, and has been working within the oil & gas industry since completing an Honours degree in Marketing and Event Management at Queen Margaret University.

Rachel joins the Aberdeen office but will be working closely with Patriot’s various European offices.

Managing director Myles Campbell said of the appointment: “We are delighted to have Rachel join us, bringing new ideas and enthusiasm to the team. Although the UK North Sea is facing challenging times at the moment, we are dedicated to strengthening our team and developing Patriot as an International Group.”

This is the second addition to the team in Aberdeen in recent months, with Ian Lamb (left) taking on the role of sales engineer in the summer of 2015. Ian has over 30 years experience in the oil & gas industry specialising in joint integrity and running major global offshore projects. Ian joins the team after working within companies such as Halliburton, Hydratight and IKM Testing and is hugely well respected within the bolting sector.

Speaking of his role at Patriot, Ian said “I have had an extremely varied and extensive career within this industry and hope that my knowledge and expertise in this area can help to enhance what is already an established organisation with huge potential.”

Patriot International holds one of the largest stocks of specialist pipework equipment for rental and sale in Europe. This includes controlled bolt tightening, in-situ machining, heat treatment and subsea equipment. Our products and services enable our clients to undertake turnkey piping projects themselves.
