Navitas Compliance Solutions Limited is a new start business and has been operating since May 2015. The Management Team consists of a Father and son team who prior to setting up the company worked extensively in the oil and gas arena.
James Murphy, managing director, was VP HSEQ & Security for a major drilling contractor. Jamie Murphy, operations director, previously worked in HSEQ and Training provider prior to his current role managing and facilitating training and HSEQ Consultancy.
Utilising there combined experience in the Oil & Gas industry they developed ‘Navitas Bridging the Gaps™’, a ‘3’ phase nationalisation programme that effectively manages the process of identifying and advancing the skill sets of National Field Staff in Field/Facilities operations in developing oil & gas regions of the world. This programme is seen as a major step in supporting nationalisation in defined roles by a number of IOC’s.
The programme ensures that all National personnel are selected and assessed for development potential and trained to meet Customer specific requirements and international best practice. It also ensures that personnel fulfil their operational roles understanding and meeting; International & National Legislation, Regulatory Guidance, and Operational Procedures Technical Requirements Manufacturers Specification etc.
As a company Navitas have significant experience of Compliance Support and Training within the Global Oil & Gas sector and have developed, through their expertise and capabilities the ability and infrastructure to support major energy projects in difficult and austere environments around the world.
Navitas have developed this product over the past 12 months with the support of Business Gateway, Scottish Development International and Scottish Innovation. Navitas have gained a £5k Grant from Scottish Innovation for their unique product.
