Music 4 U is delighted to announce the founding members of the 500 4 500 initiative, a groundbreaking fundraising project that brings businesses together to transform the lives of young people through music.

It would like to express its sincere thanks to RBC Brewin Dolphin, Keenan Recycling, Studio 10, Newburgh Inn Hotel, Aberdeen Trinity Centre, Corry & Christie Optometrists, and HS Hygiene Services Ltd for their generous support as its first contributors.

Music 4 U is calling on 500 local businesses to each donate £500, demonstrating the power of how collective efforts can make a significant impact right here in Aberdeen.

This initiative is not just about raising funds for a local charity; it’s about uniting the Aberdeen business community to empower and support the next generation of local talent. By participating, businesses can help transform the lives of young people through the arts, offering them opportunities to develop their skills, gain confidence, and achieve their dreams.

Music 4 U has been a lifeline for young people since 2003, and this campaign ensures that its crucial work can continue and expand. Music 4 U students lead enriched lives, with increased employability, empathy, and quality of life.

Local businesses can help them continue to offer life-affirming opportunities for young people who may otherwise struggle to navigate society and find fulfillment in their day-to-day lives.

This initiative is a powerful example of what we can achieve when businesses come together for a common goal. With the support of forward-thinking companies across the region, Music 4 U is building a network of 500 businesses committed to making music a force for positive change.

If your organisation is looking to give back to the community and play a part in this exciting movement, now is the perfect time to get involved. You can find out more about the 500 4 500 in the December/January edition of the Grampian Chamber of Commerce Business Bulletin Magazine or via M4U’s website: www.m4u.org.uk/500
