With just two weeks until the Charlie House Big Build Ball, themed ‘Night at the Musicals’, the charity is excited to announce the launch of its virtual silent auction.

This year’s auction, supported by MDL, boasts a lineup of more than 70 incredible items, including a Vivienne Westwood designer watch, a four-ball round of golf at Duff House Royal Golf Club, and tickets to Chicago at Aberdeen’s His Majesty’s Theatre.

Open to everyone—not just ball attendees—the auction offers a fantastic opportunity to support a local cause while bidding on items that cater to all tastes and budgets, with starting bids situated at just £10.

Bidders have until 11:30 PM on Saturday, November 16, to secure these exciting prizes. All proceeds go directly towards supporting Charlie House’s mission to provide essential services for babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions across North-east Scotland.

Ollie Middleton, fundraising team lead at Charlie House, commented: “We’re thrilled to offer such a fantastic range of items in this year’s silent auction. From unique gifts to unforgettable experiences, there’s truly something for everyone.

“And remember, you don’t need a ticket to the Big Build Ball to take part—anyone can join in the fun and place their bids! We’re incredibly grateful for the generous donations we’ve received, thank you so much to everyone who has donated a prize. We are looking forward to an amazing night of support for our Big Build appeal.”

The Big Build Ball, generously supported by title sponsor Brimmond, will take place on Saturday, November 16, at P&J Live. Hosted by comedian Des Clarke, the evening promises to bring the magic of Broadway to Aberdeen with attendees enjoying a whistlestop magical tour of musical hits, culminating in an unforgettable set from fan-favourite party band, MADHEN.
