Aberdeen has clocked up more than £360,000 worth of Low Emission Zone (LEZ) fines in the first month of its operation, more than any other city and double that of Glasgow in its first month.
The new data, revealed by the Press & Journal, found that 6,057 fines were issued in the first 31 days of operation.
Not all cameras were turned on from the start, meaning there's a possibility more fines could have been handed out. The data doesn't account for repeat offenders, meaning some of the fines issued may have been capped.
Edinburgh's LEZ dished out 6,030 fines in its first month - 27 fewer than Aberdeen - while there was 2,966 fines handed out in Dundee, and 2,897 in Glasgow.
Of the 6,057 fines handed out, more than 75% of them were due to drivers caught in LEZs on Market Street, Alford Place, Denburn Road and Virginia Street.
