Labour party members in Aberdeen are being told to canvass 90 miles away in Fife, rather than in their own constituency.
The party's website allows people to input their postcode to find out where they are best placed to help the party fight for a seat ahead of July's election.
However, as revealed by the Press & Journal, someone living in Aberdeen South, Stephen Flynn's constituency, is told to canvass two hours away in Dunfermline and Dollar.
It's the same outcome for people living in Fraserburgh, while anyone in the highlands is told to go to the Western Isles.
The SNP's Kirsty Blackman, MP for Aberdeen North, claimed Labour has "packed it in altogether", but the party has launched a staunch defence of the findings.
It said the tool isn't widely used by activists and it's simply aimed at targeting marginal constituencies.
