ModuSpec, a global rig and well control equipment specialist, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Petrotec, a leading provider of engineered products and services to the energy industry in Qatar, to support its growth strategy and increase awareness of its service portfolio in the Middle East.

With an established client base in Qatar, ModuSpec’s new strategic partnership shows its commitment to enhance the visibility and accessibility of its services among both operators and drilling contractors in the region.

The company has built a strong reputation in the country in delivering rig intake and inspection projects. By leveraging Petrotec’s extensive network and local expertise, ModuSpec aims to market its ancillary solutions including HSEQ, training and real-time monitoring services.

“Qatar is a key target market for us in the Middle East region,” said Liam Pirie, ModuSpec business development director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. "Having already developed a strong track record locally, we recognised the need to have a local partner to enable the expansion of our services to all prospective clients.

"Petrotec was highly recommended to us, and we’re delighted to be working with the team to continue developing the ModuSpec brand locally and to increase awareness of the full portfolio of services we offer the upstream industry.”

“We are thrilled to collaborate with ModuSpec and bring their industry-leading services to the Qatar oil and gas sector,” said Nathan Bradley, general manager- Sales at Petrotec. “By combining our regional expertise with ModuSpec’s services, we can jointly support the energy sector’s need for safety and operational efficiency.”
