Fergus Ewing MSP, Minister for Business, Energy and Tourism, joined senior management, staff and City Council and Visit Aberdeen officials on the January 26, at Skene House Hotel Suites Whitehall.
The delegation gathered to celebrate a number of recent hotel awards, which saw the venue voted number one for guest satisfaction on Trip Advisor for the fourth year running.
At the end of last year, Trip Advisor, the leading online review site, inducted all three Skene House HotelSuites in Aberdeen City - Rosemount, Whitehall and Holburn - into their celebrated Hall of Fame, as a result of five years of top ratings.
The continued online success of Skene House HotelSuites was also underscored by a further three Hotel.Com awards scooped just before Christmas 2015 which were the only awards to be given out in Aberdeen.
Speaking of the visit, the Minister said: “Tourism is all about creating an enjoyable experience for each and every visitor and the sector has a key role in creating the warm welcome that Scotland is famous for. I am delighted that the hard work of the team at the Skene Group - their contribution to maximising tourism growth and drawing visitors to Scotland - has been recognised by these prestigious awards.”
