City centre venue Resident X has closed with immediate effect, with operators admitting it "doesn't make financial sense to continue".
The council-owned bar and food hall was first opened in 2023, but then-operators David Griffiths and Michael Robertson handed the keys back by the end of the year.
Ryan Clark and Andy Eager, who have ran a number of Aberdeen venues, took control, before calling it a day yesterday.
The duo were given 12 months of business rates relief, but with that now up, the pair would need to cough up "something like £70,000".
Hundreds of football fans packed into the Marischal Square complex just a few months ago to watch Scotland in the Euro's, while the operators have also looked to drum up footfall by hosting various DJ and live entertainment nights.
