Following on from the success of MDT’s Aberdeen public courses back in March and April, which saw record high participant numbers, it’s green for go again in September.

Monday, September 9 will see the start of three weeks of MDT courses covering topics such as an 'Introduction to the oil and gas industry', 'Exploration and production accounting' and 'Cost control and budgeting.'

MDT managing director, Drew Leitch said: “In these challenging times for the industry, it’s great to see our oil and gas focused courses continuing to be in high demand. I’m confident that oil and gas has a very significant role to play in the global energy consumption mix for many decades to come. It remains an exciting and attractive industry for young professionals.

"The majority of those attending are based locally, however the Aberdeen 2024 courses have also attracted participants from: Japan, Nigeria, Oman and Pakistan.

"A warm welcome is always extended to those attending MDT courses at the various venues around the world, but it’s always especially nice to have the opportunity to welcome first time visitors to the Granite City”.
