Incident investigation specialist Matrix Risk Control has strengthened its team with a number of strategic appointments and promotions to meet increasing demand for its services domestically and overseas.
Three investigators from the company’s existing team have been promoted to new managerial roles. Lead investigator Alan Scott becomes investigation manager, while IOSH-accredited trainers John Richardson and Craig Smith take on the roles of project manager and training manager respectively. The trio, who are all experienced in delivering root cause analysis and investigative training worldwide, will help drive the organisation’s plans to develop and deliver its training provision and specialist support services into new geographical territories.
Matrix Risk Control has also swelled its staff numbers with the appointment of Allan Heggie, Scott Thompson and Kenneth Anderson as associates. In their new positions Allan, Scott and Kenneth will support the company’s investigative and training commitments in the UK and overseas. In keeping with Matrix Risk Control’s heritage, the new recruits bring considerable law enforcement and supervisory experience to the company.
“2017 is set to be another exciting year at Matrix and we are delighted to enter it with a strong, experienced and extended team,” says Alan Smith, director, Matrix Risk Control.
“There is increasing international interest in our unique approach to risk management and incident investigation, which is a legacy of our policing investigative backgrounds. These three new managerial appointments will be crucial in helping us to capitalise on this interest and grow the services we offer our existing client base.
“Our new associates, Allan, Scott and Kenneth, will extend our capacity in terms of the volume of work we can service here in the UK and internationally. Their career histories mean that they are an excellent fit with the company and its ethos.”
The new appointments come as Matrix Risk Control continues to widen its global footprint and its portfolio of risk management training and specialist services. The company expansion follows the announcement of a new partnership arrangement with New Zealand-based Incident Prevention Group (IPG), as well as the launch of a new online portal to support Matrix Risk Control’s unique investigation support scheme (MISS).
Founded by former senior police investigators in 2008, Matrix Risk Control specialises in the core areas of root cause analysis, incident recording and incident investigation.
