Bancon Group yesterday (October 22) announced the appointment of highly experienced house-building specialist, Philip Hogg, as managing director of its homes business.

The current chief executive of Homes for Scotland, Mr Hogg has a career spanning over 30 years in the construction and house building industry. His appointment is the latest in a series of high profile senior management appointments made by Bancon as it pushes forward with its ambitious five year growth plan.

During his career. Mr Hogg has held numerous roles within the house-building sector, most recently with pHc, SynGro, Sorouh and Miller Homes, focusing on customer service and marketing. Prior to joining Homes for Scotland he was founder and director of Visitor Feedback, a unique customer feedback system for homebuilders.

With a strong heritage in the north-east, Bancon Group’s current projects include high profile homes sites Milltimber West, Aspire and Maidencraig in Aberdeen as well as developments in Aboyne, Banchory, Drumoak and Tarves.

Bancon Group, based at Crathes in Royal Deeside, is one of Scotland’s best-established and most respected companies, with turnover of £83million and 300 employees. The group comprises homes, construction and timber frame businesses. The Deeside timber frame business operates across Scotland and North of England.
