Macsween of Edinburgh won the Regional Growth Business Award for Scotland at last night’s industry-leading Food and Drink Federation Awards. The ceremony, held at London’s The Brewery and hosted by television personality Hardeep Singh Kohli, celebrated businesses and industry professionals from across the food and drink supply chain. The category was sponsored by Grant Thornton LLP.

Macsween is a third generation family company based in the Scottish capital and is the UK’s leading haggis manufacturer. Macsween is passionate about making great tasting innovative food in an ethical and sustainable way. Its food is handcrafted using only the finest ingredients combined with unique family recipes. Being able to produce in small batches enables Macsween to preserve its craft and maintain the provenance and quality for which their food is famous worldwide. Sales and turnover have grown consistently over recent years and the business is also looking to maximise its success in the UK market by replicating this in a number of foreign markets in the coming years.
