This year's Lord Provost's Charitable Trust charity Burns Supper will be held at the Beach Ballroom on Friday, February 3 at 6.30pm, organised by Charles Henderson of Henderson Financial, supported by Burgesses of Guild of the City of Aberdeen.
The jam-packed evening will include entertainment from Burns Supper stars Robert Lovie, Paul Anderson, Gordon Casely, Gordon M Hay, Rae Jappy, Pam Rotheroe-Hay, Jennie Chalmers, Ken Howie and Siobhan Miller.
The Trust is a fund independent of the City Council, set up to support registered charities operating within the city of Aberdeen and has as its Trustees, the Lord Provost, the Chief Executive of Aberdeen City Council, the Sheriff Principal of Aberdeen, Highlands and Islands, and the Lord Dean of Guild. Numerous, sometimes substantial donations have been made to various Page deserving local causes. Recently, the Trust supported local charities must working with families and individuals who were experiencing financial hardship due to the CV19 pandemic. The Trust is not centrally funded and raises finance by means of holding or supporting charity events, such as gala concerts, Burns suppers and dinners.
