What: Aberdeen Branch of UNISON are celebrating heroes working in Local Government this Thursday by taking part in a national Local Service Champions Day. Our Local Service Champions Bus will be touring the city, visiting Aberdeen City Council work places to meet and talk members, to recognise that they are unsung heroes. We will also have stalls over lunch time in Marischal College, Town House and Len Ironside Centre. We believe it is important to let our members know in these uncertain times that they are valued for the vital job they do in providing public service to the people of Aberdeen, and to let them we are here to support them in the workplace and protect their jobs from future cuts and the impact of them.
