Award-winning, Aberdeen Executive Chef, Orry Shand, who leads the kitchen at Entier Ltd, has been named as a finalist for the Craft Guild of Chefs prestigious title of National Chef of the Year.

Orry Shand, who has previously won the Scottish Chef of the Year award, is not only a highly celebrated chef but also the current team manager of the Scottish Culinary Team, who recently took home two silver medals at this year's IKA Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart.

The Craft Guild of Chefs National Chef of the Year award is one of the most sought-after titles, celebrating the creativity and skills of the nation's top chefs. As a finalist, Orry will compete against some of the country's best in the culinary industry, joining 9 other finalists presenting to a panel of esteemed judges, including Matt Abé, Chef Patron at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Forty semi-finalists were whittled down to ten finalists who will cook their original entry on October 8th, all vying for the title of National Chef of the Year.
