Lobbying (Scotland) Act - what does it mean for your food and drink business?

Do you actively engage with MSPs or the Scottish Government on behalf of your company? From Monday, March 12, 2018 all regulated lobbying in Scotland, as defined in the Lobbying (Scotland) Act, will have to be registered on Scotland’s new Lobbying Register.

FDF Scotland and CMS are holding an event that will help you understand what this means for your business. Stuart MacLean, Partner at CMS and Billy McLaren, Lobbying Registrar at the Scottish Parliament will bring to life what the Act means for your business. This will include relevant scenarios of when your company would need to register and when you wouldn’t. These examples will be focused specifically on the food and drink industry.
