Leading North East Architects Practice, Lippe Architects held a Celebration Dinner on Thursday, June 18 at Meldrum House Hotel, Oldmeldrum to commemorate 30 years in business.
Amongst the 130 invited guests were clients who have been with the practice since its inception in 1985. This event also included a prize giving ceremony for an afternoon of golf for staff and clients, the overall winner being Hamish Duthie of The Kellas Partnership and a prize draw with all proceeds going to CLAN and Befriend a Child.
The Award winning practice was established by William Lippe, who began his working life at Aberdeen City Architects Department and R.B. The diverse Portfolio covers all sectors, including residential, commercial, leisure and tourism, education and also historic and restoration projects in the North East and throughout Scotland.
The business has now grown to 20 personnel and Lippe Architects Management team includes Director, Stuart Naysmith who joined in 1993 and Associates, Eleanor Alexander, Stephen Martin and Kirsten Will who heads up its Albyn Place office in Aberdeen, opened in 2014 to enhance the high level of service provision for its clients. The company has embraced many changes over the years, with the introduction of new technologies probably being the most significant including 3D visualisation and modelling to provide clients with high quality representations of the projects. Technical Director, Stuart Naysmith explains, “Investment in the most up to date technology and continual professional training for our staff has allowed us to develop a highly experienced, modern service to our clients”.
Managing Director, William Lippe commented, “I am immensely proud to have achieved this milestone, and the company is still growing. We have always strived to offer a high level of excellence, knowledge and expertise and have gained the trust of our clients for consistently offering a friendly, yet professional service.”
William Lippe has also been closely involved in the community, and was instrumental in setting up the Garioch Sports Trust, has been Chairman of Inverurie Locos Football Club for two terms of office having also played for the Club and served on the Highland League Committee for five years.
