A leading North East property firm has announced plans to host a special informative open weekend at its new housing development in Keith.
Huntly-based Deveron Homes recently launched its stylish new showhome at the 54-house Strathisla Park development in the Moray town. The project features two, three and four bedroom properties, including 26 starter homes, with list prices ranging from £115,950 to £242,950.
Now the company is planning to help prospective buyers through the house purchasing maze by holding an opening weekend to share information on how Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme can help. This is currently available on new-build properties with a maximum value of £230,000 and which are ready to be occupied before the end of March next year when the criteria will change.
Deveron Homes’ Sales Director Lynne Holburn explained: “Help to Buy is a great way to purchase a new home – and it applies to first time buyers as well as existing home owners. If you have a 5% deposit, the Scottish Government will lend you up to 15% of the property value through an equity loan so you will only need a mortgage of 80%.
“There’s a lot of information and options to consider, so we have decided to hold an open weekend at Strathisla Park from November 11 – 14. We look forward to welcoming prospective buyers to discuss what’s involved and see how the scheme might be able to help them.”
The Strathisla Park showhome is open Thursday to Monday, 11am to 5pm. For further information, visit www.deveronhomes.co.uk or email sales@deveronhomes.co.uk Alternatively, call (01466) 794300.
