Comedy fans in Aberdeen will be spoiled for choice as some of the brightest and best comedians in the country are set to visit the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen over the coming weeks.
Jake Lambert, Lou Conran, Vittorio Angelone, Amy Gledhill and Mark Thomas will all stop off at the famous Aberdeen venue with their latest shows.
Aberdeen Performing Arts Programming Manager, Steven Milne, said: “From the freshest new comedic talent this country has to offer to seasoned pros and everything in between, the next few weeks are shaping up to be full of hilarious fun at the Lemon Tree.

Jake Lambert stops off at the Lemon Tree on Wednesday, September 18 as part of his first national tour. The show will see the comedian talk about trying to navigate his way through everyday life, why he has a fear of being normal, and asking why we all feel the need to ask strangers what breed their dogs are.
It seems the perfect time for his first tour too; his online videos have gained over 150million views, he has been supporting Michael McIntyre on his worldwide tour and he will be appearing on the next series of Live at the Apollo.
Award winning comedian Lou Conran will visit the Aberdeen venue on Tuesday, September 24 embarks on her first mini tour around the UK. Comedy is a serious business these days, and you absolutely won’t find that here. With a mind that ricochets more than a drunk at a wedding, this show is full of stories and silliness. Her usual waffles can be heard on her podcasts “How’s Your Week Been?” and “Spit or Swallow”. She’s a regular tour support for Sarah Millican and host of BBC R4 Extra’s Comedy Club and a regular guest on Times Radio. With support from the G.C both mentally and physically this show proves certain to be a joyous (not for the faint hearted) occasion.
Viral sensation Vittorio Angelone brings his show Who Do You Think You Are? I Am! To Aberdeen on Thursday, October 3.
Having started comedy in 2018, Vittorio has already cultivated a huge online following from stand-up clips and podcasts, regularly amassing millions of views on various platforms. As well as co-hosting Mike & Vittorio’s Guide to Parenting alongside fellow comedian Mike Rice,

Amy is a multi award-winning comedian, actor and writer, and is the only act ever to be nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award twice in the same year. Following her hugely successful debut show, The Girl Before The Girl You Marry, Amy Gledhill returns with another stand-up offering.

Mark Thomas will bring his now famous mix of standup, theatre, journalism and the odd bout of performance art to the Lemon Tree on Wednesday, October 9.
Often referred to as the ‘godfather of political comedy’ (amidst many other things), Mark has been performing comedy for nearly 40 years. With a recent step towards theatre in his last few shows, Mark is back to his finest stand-up form and anti-Tory sentiment in new show, Gaffa Tapes.
He has made six series of the Mark Thomas Comedy Product and three Dispatches for Channel 4, made five series of the Manifesto for Radio 4, written five books and four playscripts, curated and authored two art exhibitions with artist Tracey Moberly and was commissioned to write a show for the Royal Opera House. He has forced a politician to resign, changed laws on tax and protest, become the Guinness Book of Records world-record holder for number of protests in 24 hours, taken the police to court three times and won (the fourth is in the pipeline), walked the length of the Israeli Wall in the West Bank (that’s 724km), and generally mucked about trying to have fun and upset (shall we say) the right people.
