Join Smoke and Soul on Saturday, July 13 for a special summer BBQ themed event at the Smokehouse, showcasing local produce and the team’s culinary skillset, working with favour and flame.
Expect a delicious ‘conveyor belt of BBQ goodness’, soulful sides & salad bar, summery cocktails, spirits and draft beer available from the pop up licensed bar & live music entertainment from Aberdeen vocalist, Ellen Bain, on acoustic guitar.
Different to the hugely successful Saturday at the Smokehouse’ event - a trial run for expanding their opening days to include weekends held just last month - this event will be for ticket holders only, so booking is essential.
Owner Lindsay is excited to welcome guests back to the Smokehouse, this time for a more relaxed service.
“At the beginning of June, we organised a last minute Saturday service with a special BBQ menu to test the waters and see if there is an appetite for our food at weekends in Bridge of Don. We were blown away with the turnout and unfortunately despite doubling up on quantities 'just in case', we still ran out before the end of service of most of our specials that day.
"This event will guarantee a seat at the table and the opportunity to try absolutely everything on the menu, since it’s all included in the ticket price.
"Relaxed music from Ellen will just be the cherry on the top - let’s just pray for some sun!”

Chef and owner, Corey Milne says this event will be the best BBQ menu he’s done yet for their customers.
“This event will have some of our top crowdfunder investors attending too, so it needs to be special.
The team are leaving some suspense with releasing the finer details of the menu but Corey says he can "guarantee guests will be well fed" with some of his favourite dishes to cook over charcoal and “won't leave hungry".
The full menu is yet to be released but alongside a generous salad bar, you can expect BBQ picanha, cooked over a charcoal spit-roast, St. Lois Ribs and sticky burnt ends, to name just a few.
Drinks sold separately on the day but there will be a complimentary drink on arrival for those who select the General Admission (Inc arrival drink). Food only tickets available too at a reduced price.
