Langstane, a leading name in the office supplies Industry, today announced a major restructuring of its sales and purchasing teams as part of an ongoing strategy to build upon its legacy and drive future growth.
This restructuring comes as Graham Taylor, commercial director, retires after nearly 50 years with the company.
Graham began his journey with Langstane in the warehouse in 1975, gradually progressing through various roles, including sales director, before taking on the role of commercial director, where he managed supplier relations and the commercial aspects of the business. His dedication, leadership, and invaluable contribution have played a significant role in shaping Langstane into the successful business it is today.
Following Graham’s retirement, Langstane is pleased to announce key changes within the business:
- Gwyneth Hume will assume the new role of business relationship manager, responsible for overseeing customer and supplier relationships, increasing sales, and further strengthening supplier partnerships. Gwyneth has been with Langstane for 34 years and brings a wealth of experience in building and nurturing business relationships, making her ideally suited to drive this crucial aspect of the business forward.
- Warren Orr will join Gwyneth as commercial lead, focusing on customer and catalogue pricing. With a background in commercial strategy, Warren will ensure Langstane remains competitive in the market while aligning pricing strategies with customer needs.
- Hannah Ocheje, a new addition to the team, will take on the role of marketing lead. Hannah will be responsible for promoting the Langstane brand and increasing visibility within key Scottish business areas, including Aberdeen, Dundee, and Livingston.
These changes come just one year after Langstane’s managing director Colin Campbell retired, with Mark Campbell stepping into the role to lead the company into the future. Colin continues to serve Langstane as chairman, offering strategic insight and guidance.
Langstane’s ongoing evolution is part of a broader effort to diversify and expand its product offerings. The company plans to develop new categories and increase sales across Scotland in the coming months and years.
“We are entering an exciting phase in the company’s history,” said Mark Campbell, managing director of Langstane. “With the restructuring of our sales and purchasing teams and the addition of talented individuals like Gwyneth, Warren, and Hannah, we are confident in our ability to continue delivering excellence while exploring new opportunities for growth and expansion.”
Langstane looks forward to the future and is committed to driving innovation and customer satisfaction as it continues to evolve in the marketplace.
