This is the time of year when many of us start to think holidays, a short-break to the sun or an adventure of a lifetime and the Aberdeen branch of worldwide travel brand Kuoni is getting ready to help people plan ahead.

Kuoni has a long heritage in travel with decades of experience planning trips all over the globe and has been a pioneer in travel, but this year the company has its eye on welcoming more people to experience a holiday the Kuoni way, with added wow-factor.

The worldwide travel brand originally opened in Aberdeen in 2013 within the John Lewis store and gained lots of loyal customers, so much so that when the department store closed the company opened a new store within the city centre three years ago.

Since then the branch has gone from strength to strength and it’s now open seven days a week as it prepares for the busiest month of the year.

There’s more to Kuoni though than you might think though, and the brand has just revealed a bold new look, designed to broaden its appeal for a new era, playing on its heritage but bringing a more contemporary feel to the brand.

Family holidays, great value beach breaks and bespoke long-haul itineraries are all on the cards for the year ahead as part of the new brand launch, according to manager of the Kuoni Aberdeen store Chris Winpenny-Cushine.

As one of the most trusted brands in travel, recognised by Which? as a Recommended Provider in four categories, the new brand will elevate Kuoni’s position as an iconic worldwide travel brand, famed for creating bespoke travel itineraries and outstanding service.

Customers will also see a broader range of holiday types, family holidays, beach breaks, safaris and short breaks are all bookable through the Kuoni team in Aberdeen.

Making appointments at the store is recommended but not essential according to Chris, who points out that whilst the central section of Union Street is being re-developed, access to the Back Wynd and the store can be from either the Schoolhill Entrance or the Union Street entrance.
