Ryanair is adding a new direct route to Aberdeen International Airport next summer.

Krakow will become the airline’s fourth destination from the North-east’s largest transport hub offering exciting new travel options for passengers.

Beginning on April 2, 2025, this twice-weekly service will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays, catering perfectly to those visiting friends and family as well as leisure travellers looking to explore one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

Krakow, one of the most highly requested destinations from Aberdeen, becomes the airport’s second direct connection to Poland, joining the popular route to Gdansk.

The launch of this new service reinforces Ryanair’s growing presence at Aberdeen International Airport, where demand for European destinations has been on the rise.

Chris Tibbett, aero director for AGS Airports, said: “This new route to Krakow is a fantastic addition to our network, and we are delighted that Ryanair has responded to passenger demand by introducing this service.

“Krakow is one of Europe’s most popular city destinations, known for its rich history and vibrant culture. This is great news for our passengers, and with the added bonus of increased frequency on our Faro route, it highlights Ryanair’s commitment to offering expanded options from Aberdeen.”.

In addition to the new Krakow route, Ryanair is increasing its frequency on flights to Faro from two to three times per week during the 2025 summer season.

These enhancements mean that Ryanair’s overall operations from Aberdeen will grow by an impressive 43% compared to Summer 2024, underscoring Aberdeen International Airport's commitment to offering expanded connectivity for passengers in the region.
