The Kildrummy Veteran and Vintage Vehicles Club has just run its 58th Annual Kildrummy Vintage Rally at local outdoor activities venue, Deeside Activity Park, Aboyne.
Set in picturesque countryside of Royal Deeside, Deeside Activity Park saw a fantastic sunny summers day for this event again this year.
The front lawn was full of fabulous, funky, fun and interesting vehicles on display, the venue itself had lots of activities and attractions to add to the free family fun day event and hosted a first class Cairnton Aberdeen Angus BBQ, to keep everyone well fed on the day.
By 11am, Deeside Activity Park saw over 100 cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles from days gone by, entered in to the event.
“Cars and Motor-cycles of bye-gone times have charmed generations of spectators here today” said Mr. Iain Wood, from Banchory.
“Just a great day out for all the family”.
“We’re delighted to be welcoming the members of the Kildrummy Veteran and Vintage Vehicles Club back to Deeside Activity Park” said owner of the park, Ken Howie.
“This year’s event seems to be a huge success and it was wonderful to see these beautiful vehicles displayed on the lawn. Supporting local societies is an important part of what we do here, and there are none that fit so well with our own activities as this Vintage Vehicle club”.
This weekend with it being Father’s Day, Deeside Activity Park are holding a Fathers day family BBQ, everyone is welcome, for further information about the Rally or this weekends Fathers Day BBQ call Cilla Wood at Deeside Activity Park on 013398 83536.
