If our last comedy announcement wasn’t enough for you, we have another outrageously funny comedian joining the Aberdeen International Comedy Festival line-up which returns to the city from October 6 to October 16.

The latest act to be announced to the line-up for the Aberdeen International Comedy Festival is Jerry Sadowitz, an American-born Scottish stand-up comedian and magician who was voted the “15th greatest comic on Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups”.

Making his Aberdeen International Comedy Festival debut, Not for Anyone sees Jerry return with whacky impressions of Greta Thunberg, Frankie Boyle and ‘deep vein thrombosis’. Notorious for his frequently controversial brand of dark comedy, he will take to the Tivoli Theatre stage on Friday, October 14.

Commenting on the announcement, Shona Byrne, Senior Project Manager at Aberdeen Inspired, said: “We are excited to add Jerry Sadowitz to our line-up for the Aberdeen International Comedy Festival.

“This year’s festival is shaping up to be something very special, with the previously announced David O’Doherty, Harry Hill and Jack Dee, among others. Aberdeen is making itself known as a destination of choice through events like this and there has never been a better time to enjoy everything the city has to offer.”

The Aberdeen International Comedy Festival will run at a multitude of city venues, bars and clubs over the course of 11 days from Thursday, October 6 until Sunday, October 16.

Tickets for Jerry Sadowitz priced at £22.50 (excluding booking fee) go on sale Friday, March 25 at 10am. More acts will be announced throughout the year. For more information on the full Aberdeen International Comedy Festival line-up and to buy tickets go to www.aberdeencomedyfestival.com
