Jamieson & Carry, the luxury jewellery & Swiss watch experts, has opened a new TAG Heuer boutique on Union Street in the heart of Aberdeen’s granite mile. Jamieson & Carry, which was founded in the city centre in 1733, declared that this investment underlines its commitment to the positive regeneration of Union Street.
The new flagship store, which will sell the much sought after Carrera Collection, which celebrated its 60th anniversary this year, as well as the Connected Calibre E4 – a luxury smartwatch, includes an interactive display area to showcase and inform clients of the cutting-edge technology used by TAG Heuer.
Located at 132 Union Street, adjacent to Jamieson & Carry’s existing store, the new TAG Heuer boutique is part of a significant multi-million-pound investment plan for the city.
Philip Carry, Partner at Jamieson & Carry said: “Today marks a new chapter for Jamieson & Carry and TAG Heuer cementing our long-standing partnership and joint commitment to Aberdeen. We are very grateful to TAG Heuer for supporting us to make this happen.
“TAG Heuer has always been one of our most popular Swiss watch brands, appealing to people of all ages with its diverse collection and commitment to innovation. We are sure the new store will be a very welcome addition to Union Street.”
Natasha Adams, store manager of the new TAG Heuer boutique said: “We cannot wait to welcome the people of Aberdeen and beyond into our new TAG Heuer boutique to learn more about these incredible timepieces.
“Our new showroom is the perfect environment to immerse yourself in the TAG Heuer experience, allowing you to witness first-hand and up close the expertise of world-renowned Swiss watchmaking, underpinned by a passion for precision and utilising the very latest technology.”
Rob Diver, managing director of TAG Heuer UK and Ireland, said: “This opening in Aberdeen - TAG Heuer’s first mono brand boutique with Jamieson & Carry, and our third in Scotland - underscores our vision to provide an unparalleled retail experience across the UK. As part of the significant investment plan for the city, this bricks-and-mortar boutique highlights our commitment to Aberdeen as an economic and cultural hub, and we look forward to welcoming clients over the festive period.”
This investment is part of Jamieson & Carry’s long-term strategy to build on its 290 year legacy as Aberdeen’s leading destination for luxury jewellery and watches.
