The James Hutton Institute is currently developing a Biodiversity Toolkit for business, with the aim of drawing together relevant information for small, medium and large organisations.
This will highlight elements such as why businesses should incorporate biodiversity into their operations, potential actions they can take to enhance biodiversity, possible funding sources and opportunities for corporate social responsibility engagement.
The toolkit is being developed primarily for the North-east, but will be publicly available and therefore of use to all organisations across Scotland.
As a first stage, the James Hutton Institute has developed a short survey to get feedback on what organisations would like to see contained within the toolkit.
If you would like to discuss the survey please contact Amy Gray, senior sustainable development officer at Aberdeen City Council on amgray@aberdeencity.gov.uk.
