Local charity VSA announced today (Friday, August 25) that Ithaca Energy will be the principal sponsor for their annual fundraising ball in November this year. VSA, the social care charity supporting the people of Aberdeen & North-east Scotland, will hold its Best of Care ball at the P&J Live on November 3, 2023.

Sue Freeth, chief executive for VSA, says, “We are very grateful to Ithaca Energy for their continued support and for choosing to become the principal sponsor of this year’s ball. Our annual ball is one of our major fundraising events and enables us to continue to provide the best of care to the city of Aberdeen and the North East, changing the lives of many vulnerable children and adults. Securing principal sponsorship and support means that we can make our event bigger and better with the potential to raise more much-needed funds which we can put back into our services across the North-east of Scotland.”

By supporting VSA, we can help them provide vital support to vulnerable children and adults who need it most across the North East. As part of our three-year commitment to our charity partnership, we are delighted to support the fantastic annual ball and other initiatives. We look forward to celebrating with the team at the event and further promoting the invaluable work VSA provides.”

Holly Leiper, head of communications and fundraising for VSA, says, “Ithaca Energy continues to go above and beyond for VSA. Not only are they a recently announced corporate partner spanning a three-year period and have taken principal sponsorship of the ball, but they are also heavily involved in volunteering at our services, specifically a project at Linn Moor School that will make a huge difference to the children and young people we support. We thank them for their continued support and look forward to the ball preparation.”
