Aberdeen-based DF Communications is proud to announce the winners of the 2024 DF Communications Business Golf League Championship, held on Thursday, September 12, at the stunning Trump International Golf Links, Scotland.
After months of fierce competition, ITB Assurance (Duncan Bonner and Chris Clark) claimed the championship title, edging out a highly competitive field.
The runners-up were 3t Training Services (Chris Bews and Dominic Zanre), who delivered a strong performance to secure second place, while Marks & Clerk (Sam Mailer and Robbie Gauld) rounded out the podium with a commendable third-place finish.
The final, played in the challenging two-man Texas Scramble format, saw the 12 remaining teams- narrowed down from an initial 36- compete on one of Scotland's most renowned and demanding courses.
The event showcased not just golfing talent, but the incredible sense of camaraderie that defines the DF Communications Business Golf League.

The level of play has been exceptional throughout the league, and the final was no different. In addition to the on-course success, the tournament carried a significant charitable dimension. The league's opening event in April raised an impressive £1100 for MND Scotland, a charity supporting those affected by motor neurone disease. DF Communications is incredibly proud to support such an important cause, making this year’s league a success both on and off the course.
The 2024 season marked the seventh consecutive year of the DF Communications Business Golf League, which has become a cornerstone event in the north-east business community. Teams from across various sectors competed in group stages hosted at local courses throughout the summer, culminating in the exciting final at Trump International.
As always, the picturesque yet challenging Trump International provided the perfect stage for the finale, with its rolling dunes, tricky fairways, and breathtaking views adding to the drama of the day.
