AGCC member Aberdeen International Associates is headed to Halifax, Nova Scotia (on November 19-21 for Marine Renewables Canada’s annual conference – the leading event for offshore wind, wave and tidal energy in the region.
Managing director Neil McIntosh explained: "Recent updates to federal legislation mean that offshore projects can now become a reality and these are exciting times for the Atlantic provinces to develop offshore wind alongside Canada’s wider interests in developing wave and tidal energy.
"We are very much looking forward to attending this event that comes at a pivotal time for the Canadian industry which, alongside the developments in the NE USA, has the potential to present significant opportunities for partnership with European developers and the wider energy sector supply chain.
"And let’s not forget that Canada is also home to an extremely innovative cluster of ocean technology companies that are developing solutions that can support international projects too."
There is still time for local companies to register for the event – reach out to Neil@aiascot.co.uk
