Members of the North-east business community escaped the office to enjoy the longest day of the year in style at a leading Inverurie hotel.
Around 25 guests were invited to Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel, near Chapel of Garioch, for an evening of relaxed networking, refreshments and canapés at the foot of Bennachie.
The intimate event, which marked the summer solstice, saw guests given a tour of the hotel, its facilities, grounds and the Victorian walled garden.
Debbie Mair, director of sales at Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel, said: “It proved to be a terrific evening for everyone involved and fortunately we were blessed with some sunshine which can never be taken for granted in the North-east even at this time of year.
“The hotel is firmly rooted in the local community and events like these play an important part in giving something back to business people in the surrounding area who have been champions of ours for many years. We have a packed calendar of events between now and the end of 2016 and our team is very much looking forward to welcoming these guests in the weeks and months ahead.”
One of the finest four-star hotels in the Aberdeen area, Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel is set within its own ancient grounds and offers the best in breathtaking scenery and facilities. The hotel’s picturesque setting within 2,400 acres of scenic estate land makes it a popular choice for family holidays, business and weddings.
