Integrity HSE is now regularly sending Qualsafe-accredited mental health first aid trainers to offshore installations.
The Queens Road-based HSE and training consultancy is answering increasing demand from clients who recognise the changing narrative from the health and safety executive to proactively address mental health in the workplace.
Jillian Thomason, Integrity HSE’s risk and resilience manager, said: “Every workplace is different, all of which have their own set of challenges. Not every workplace needs a comprehensive mental health programme that involves an army of trained first aiders, some just need coaching on conversations and a reminder of how to access support.”
