Stuart Brown (above left) and Emma Gordon (above right) join the board which is currently chaired by Sarah Stuart, a Partner at Ledingham Chalmers.
The pair join an already diverse and highly skilled group of Trustees, each with a huge amount of experience that they bring to the charity, which offers training for employment for people with learning disabilities and additional support needs. Inspire Ventures, a subsidiary of Inspire PTL, also operates Café Coast on Aberdeen’s Beach Boulevard and Community Interest Company Café Treehouse in Midmar.

Emma brings to Inspire Ventures years of experience in Communications having been Head of PR at international communications agency, Fifth Ring, before establishing her own company, Bydand Copywriting, in 2014. Emma graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1997 with a degree in Philosophy before training as a journalist then moving into Communications. She also spent a period of time as Head of Communications at the Food Standards Agency Scotland.
Stuart has spent his time in business in the banking sector and currently holds the position of Senior Director and Team Leader for Aberdeen at Barclays Bank plc. Stuart was previously Business Development Director at Barclays and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He also regularly undertakes fundraising challenges for local charitable organisations.
