Industry accolade for North-east bar & restaurant

An Aberdeen bar & restaurant is in high spirits after winning a prestigious industry award.

No.10 Bar & Restaurant (No.10), which is located in the heart of Aberdeen’s West End, is celebrating after being presented with the ‘New Business of the Year’ award at the 21st Scottish Licensed Trade News (SLTN) awards held at Glasgow Hilton hotel.

The SLTN awards, which were hosted by comedian and TV personality, Paddy McGuinness, celebrated & recognised the rich and diverse businesses in hospitality & tourism sector from around Scotland, presenting more than 20 awards in front of an audience of 700.

No.10 Bar & Restaurant was re-launched in October 2015 following a significant three-month refurbishment which transformed the venue into a stylish bar & 90-seater restaurant. Since launching, No.10 has been revitalised to its popular heydays, providing the North-east with an elegant, yet understated dining experience in a relaxed, stylish atmosphere. The expansion has also created more than 30 jobs for the North-east.

Director of No.10, Allan Henderson, said: “We are over the moon to be named as the best new business in Scotland. We have just celebrated our first year anniversary so this really is the icing on the cake for us. The whole team has worked tirelessly to make No.10 the success it is, so this award is a real testament to them.”
