Hunting Energy Services continues to mark its 150th anniversary in a truly remarkable way, raising an impressive £2,150 for The OddBalls Foundation – a charity dedicated to raising awareness of Testicular Cancer.
To celebrate this milestone, two teams from Hunting's Portlethen and Fordoun facilities engaged in a competitive virtual cycling race, covering a challenging 150km distance.
It was a very close race but team two snatched a victory by completing the 150km in just five and a half hours with team one only a handful of kilometres behind!
Testicular Cancer is the most prominent cancer in men aged 15-49, with around 2,400 new cases in the UK every year, that's more than six every day. However, if detected early, Testicular Cancer is one of the most curable cancers.
This incredible effort wouldn’t have been possible without the kind support of The Gym Rental Company in Aberdeen, who generously donated the bikes used for the race.
A great effort from both teams!
