Engineering services firm EnerMech is set to cut 120 jobs in Aberdeen while Wood Group is expected to announce the axing of roughly 200 roles next week, reports suggest.
Sky News reports that Wood Group is expected to announce a new cost efficiency programme alongside its full-year results next week, but the group has denied suggestions that chief executive Ken Gilmartin is relocating to the US.
The group was at the centre of a buyout attempt from Apollo Global Management last year, but the American firm abandoned a takeover worth more than £2bn.
Wood Group employs around 36,000 people worldwide, while an unnamed source told Sky News the cuts will affect "white-collar workers globally".
The firm has already confirmed 34 job losses in the UK this year, including 22 in Aberdeen, as it aimed to "drive efficiency".
The group is yet to make a comment on the reports.
EnerMech to cut 5% of workforce
Meanwhile, EnerMech is cutting 250 jobs across its worldwide operations - nearly half of which are in Aberdeen - as well as shuffling jobs at the top.
Chief Executive Christian Brown is leaving to "pursue other opportunities", and is being replaced by former Weatherford International Chief Operations Officer Charles Davison Jr.
EnerMech had previously been acquired by US-based global asset manager Carlyle Group in a near-half a billion pound deal, though the Press & Journal reports that Carlyle has now exited the business.
It's new majority shareholder is London-based Polus Capital Management.
