In an effort to amplify its mission, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation (AAF), Scotland's only dedicated asthma charity, proudly welcomes Hannah Miley MBE, a revered three-time Olympian, as its newest Ambassador.
Hannah teams up with distinguished Ambassadors of the charity, including Colin Black FEI, managing director of Carjon-NRG Limited/UK Energy Technology Platform, Barry Duncan, vp finance at CNR International, and Katie Butler, senior manager at Bp.
This significant appointment marks a powerful step forward in the Foundation's relentless quest to enhance health outcomes and improve the quality of life for those living with asthma and allergies across Scotland.
For over 14 years, AAF has been the only charity advancing patient education in asthma management and delivering crucial asthma training to businesses. The charity's life-saving work has been fuelled by the unwavering support of countless individuals, generous business sponsorships, and vital grants and donations from trusts and foundations. Now, with Hannah Miley's unparalleled influence and fervent dedication, the Foundation is poised to reach its aim of delivering effective services to the 368,000 adults and children living with asthma in Scotland.
Hannah Miley's illustrious career as a world-class athlete is exemplary despite her personal battle with asthma and allergies, making her connection to the cause deeply personal and profoundly impactful. Her tenacity and resilience have not only led her to Olympic glories but also equipped her with the empathy and drive needed to champion this cause.

For nearly 15 years, the Foundation has provided essential support and training to 111,320 adults and children with asthma, along with their families and carers across Scotland. Hannah's appointment is a testament to the Foundation's unwavering commitment to empowering individuals with asthma to manage their asthma better and driving positive change within the community.
