An up-and-coming powerhouse of the local accountancy sector has reached the finals of an exciting new awards scheme.
Peter Cowan of leading independent chartered accountancy firm Hall Morrice has been named as a finalist in the Rising Star category of the inaugural Finance & Accountancy Business Awards. The so-called “Fabbies” awards were created to celebrate excellence in finance, accountancy and tax across North east Scotland. Winners will be announced during a glittering awards ceremony at Aberdeen’s Union Kirk on May 8th.
Angus-born Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2018 and has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of the firm’s most promising young leaders – at just 31 he is set to become Hall Morrice’s youngest-ever Director of Audit and Accounting. His enthusiasm for serving the company’s growing and diverse client base is surpassed only by his passion for modernisation and digitisation which has been central to laying the foundations for recent growth.
