Aberdeen-based strategic marketing and PR firm, Korero, has expanded its team following a number of contract wins.
Content Creator, Rosa Payne has joined the consultancy, which provides integrated marketing and PR support to businesses ranging from FTSE 100 companies to start-ups in Scotland, London and globally. Her appointment follows new agreements totalling approximately £180,000.
Korero’s Director, Alison Cran, said: “This is a hugely exciting time for Korero as we accelerate our expansion. We are seeing significant opportunities both within the Aberdeen market and the global digitalisation sectors. Our experience and expertise are ideally aligned to support companies’ growth ambitions within these areas. Rosa will play a central role within our digital marketing offering which is playing an ever more critical part in the marketing mix.”
In addition to the recent contract wins with energy service companies, a remote inspection company, and a digitalisation company, Korero has also been named as a Northern Star Business Award finalist in the Marketing Magic category. The company also recently relocated to Aberdeen’s centre for digital tech and entrepreneurship, ONE Tech Hub, in Schoolhill.
Speaking of her appointment, Rosa, a graduate of Robert Gordon University, added: “Korero is a company that I’ve followed and it’s great to be joining such a forward-thinking team. To have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients who are just as passionate about how marketing can support their businesses as we are is exciting and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone over the coming weeks.”
Alison and the team will also deliver two marketing sessions at the upcoming Transform Business Festival, organised by Business Gateway at the Aberdeen Science Centre on November 8. To book your place go to: www.bgateway.com/events/transform-business-festival-aberdeen-early-bird-ticket-24765
