Graduate apprenticeships Information Session

The University of Aberdeen is hosting an information session on the graduate apprenticeship BEng Civil Engineering programme on Thursday, March 5, from 4.30pm-6.00pm.

This information session is aimed at employers and staff interested in learning more about the BEng Civil Engineering graduate apprenticeships programme, as well as teachers and advisors.

Come along and meet our staff from the School of Engineering and University’s Careers Service, as well as current graduate apprenticeships students and their employers.

Background

The University of Aberdeen is offering 15 places on its graduate apprenticeship BEng Civil Engineering programme starting in September 2020.

The graduate apprenticeships programme is funded by Scotland’s national skills body Skills Development Scotland and is designed to enable employers to develop new or existing staff through a blend of work-based and on-campus learning, meaning staff remain working full-time for their company while earning their degree.

Graduate apprenticeships have been developed by Skills Development Scotland (SDS), Scotland’s national skills body, in partnership with employers, universities and colleges and professional bodies to create stronger links between education and industry.
