Glencraft's quality mattresses are now on sale in China
A North-east based social enterprise has forged another international partnership - with China.
Glencraft is one of the longest-established mattress manufacturers in the UK. Founded in Scotland and with its roots firmly in the North-east, it is a social enterprise which has continually strived to craft the highest quality products for 175 years.
The Merida and Monarch mattresses from Glencraft’s luxury range can now be found on display and available from Yundelife showrooms in China.
Only around 13% of social enterprises within the UK export to China and 20% to the South-East Asia region.
Since 1843, Glencraft has been manufacturing the finest, luxury mattress. Every Glencraft bed and mattress is built from the highest quality material, from individually coiled springs, felted wools, cottons, natural horsehair, alpaca, silks and cashmere which are handcrafted by skilled craftspeople, many of whom are disadvantaged.
Glencraft products can be found in Royal residences, having served four generations of the Royal Family. The company is incredibly proud to be a holder of the prestigious Royal Warrant by appointment to Her Majesty The Queen and takes great pride in this, one of only two companies in the UK within the sector.
Glencraft has an international presence, with partnerships in countries including Canada, USA, South Korea, China, Germany, Italy and Spain.
