An election to select members of Garthdee Community Council is underway, with voters having until 8pm on Thursday, October 25 to cast their votes.
The election is being held in the Garthdee area of Aberdeen, with votes mainly made online and by post.
Eligible voters have received their polling letters which included a step by step guide and log in details for voting online via any web enabled device such as a computer, tablet or smart phone. Online voting opened on Thursday, October 18 and will remain open until the close of poll at 8pm on Thursday, October 25.
Kaimhill Library, on Pitmedden Terrace, has set up an online voting station which is now open for electors to place their votes. Normal library opening times apply except for polling day when the library will be open from 8am until 8pm on Thursday.
Each voter is entitled to vote for as many or as few of the candidates as they wish.
Library staff will be happy to help, and a dedicated election staff member will be present on polling day to help anyone who needs it.
There are 12 members of the community council to be elected.
