A pioneering programme to connect and develop future oil and gas leaders has been launched this week in partnership with Scottish Enterprise and Energise Associates.
The 'Oil and Gas Future Industry Leader Programme' will work with a cross-industry group of capable and determined individuals who are passionate about the sector.
The programme has been designed specifically to support lasting and sustainable change in Scotland’s oil and gas industry, to ensure long-term opportunities for those with the drive and determination to make an impact. The programme delivery team believe this can be achieved through shared values and principles, which embed collaborative behaviours to protect and sustain the future of the oil and gas supply chain in Scotland.
Centred on a three-day residential leadership retreat, complemented by one-to-one coaching sessions and a leadership workshop, delegates will tackle current challenges and make a practical difference to their organisation as well as forming long-term collaborative relationships with other high potentials in the industry
Principal consultant at Energise, Dorothy Burke said: “We are passionate about the future of oil and gas in Scotland and excited to be working with this group to develop their wider leadership vision and build a strong network with high-performing peers across operators, service companies and innovative SMEs.
“If you believe you have the potential to drive positive industry change, then we encourage you to apply for this insightful programme, which will equip you to become part of a future industry leadership group and identify you and your company as one of the key sector champions.”
Energise is offering the programme at significantly reduced rates, with part funding from Scottish Enterprise to support businesses in light of current industry conditions, ensuring next generation leaders have the skills and support to drive positive change.
The programme is open to supervisory, managerial or senior technical individuals based in Scotland, from companies in oil and gas and support companies and organisations of all sizes. The current programme will run over five months between June and October.
