With weeks to go before Scotland votes on its next Parliament, industry will have the chance to hear what prospective parliamentary candidates from Scottish political parties think about oil and gas and the sector’s role in the nation’s economy.
Oil & Gas UK is hosting a hustings on Tuesday 12 April in its Aberdeen offices between 7.30am and 9.30am and featuring:
• Fergus Ewing - SNP
• Lewis Macdonald - Scottish Labour
• Maggie Chapman – Scottish Greens
• Mike Rumbles – Scottish Liberal Democrats
• Murdo Fraser – Scottish Conservatives
The event is being chaired by Trisha O’Reilly, Oil & Gas UK communications director, with prospective MSPs each getting the chance to pitch to the audience before questions are taken from the floor.
