Keith Ross, Capital Document Solutions' newly promoted photocopier branch service director in Aberdeen turned 50 this year.
He always promised himself that he would run a special race to raise money for charity, but comments he didn’t think it would be this special.
He will be running three races; the Balmoral 15 mile trail race, the Great North Run and finishing with the Nepal International Marathon in November.
As if this wasn’t enough, Keith has also added in another five runs which includes the Baker Hughes 10k in Aberdeen, recently completed with a time of 53 minutes and 53 seconds, Great Scottish Summer 10k in Edinburgh, Half Dram Marathon in Dundee, Touch of Tartan Half Marathon in Perth and the Aviemore Half Marathon, and taking some well earned time off in December.
Keith has already completed the Balmoral Glacier Energy 15 Mile Trail Race finishing in 2 hours 31 minutes.
Keith will be raising money for two charities; Alzheimer Scotland and a local charity in Nepal that focuses on gender equality and empowerment of women and girls. Everything from lack of education to woman trafficking is still an issue.
Also as part of the trip to Nepal in the week leading up to the marathon Keith will be, along with his fellow runners aiming to rebuild a school that was destroyed during the devastating 2015 earthquakes.
Any donations to the cause are greatly appreciated.
Please see Keith’s fundraising page where you can learn more about the two charities and hopefully make a donation.
