Businesses in Peterhead are being invited to attend a free workshop by one of the country’s top experts in Visual Merchandising.
Lynda Murray, Senior Visual Associate at the Retailer Ltd, will talk about ways in which the internal layout of a shop can be altered to maximise sales by displaying goods or services in a way that attracts, engages and motivates customers towards making a purchase.
Lynda is the former director of visual merchandising at House of Fraser and has over 20 years' retail experience in visual merchandising in premium department stores with clients including John Lewis, Boots, LK Bennett and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Titled “Using Visual Merchandising to Enhance Your Shop, Attract Customers and Increase Sales”, it is a special event as part of the Peterheard Retail Plus scheme, part of regeneration efforts in the town.
Her presentation will be full of information and ideas for making the best of your shop, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions of both Lynda and CEO of the Retailer Ltd, Gordon Bell.
The free event is open to all shops and businesses in Peterhead, not just those taking part in the Retail Plus scheme.
It will take place at Peterhead Academy on Wednesday, October 28 with doors open at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start. Places are limited, so booking is essential.
